The Land
The surrounding 200+ acres includes many stunning established photo opportunities including flower gardens, mature trees, a unique exposed foundation, and access to the river valley. “The Bend” portion of the property describes a bend in the Vermilion River; a place well-suited to an outdoor ceremony. It includes unobstructed views of the valley in one direction and corn fields in the other.
The Barn
Our historic barn has stood for over a century, a testament to its enduring craftsmanship. As you approach, the wide double doors—reminiscent of simpler times—open to reveal a carefully restored interior that seamlessly combines the charm of the past with the comforts of the present. The weathered wooden interior bears the marks of time, with rich, rustic tones of deep chestnut and honey brown that have developed over the years. A mixture of vintage and modern décor enhances the setting, bronze pendant lights hang delicately from above, adding a soft, romantic glow. The grand custom windows let in natural light and frame a picturesque view from every angle.
Amenities in the Barn
Fully finished with attention to every small detail: 2100 square feet of main floor and 1500 square feet in the loft. Main floor can be viewed from the loft mezzanine.

Barn on the Bend is a unique faciliity that has RV camping available - as well we have beautiful resident availability on site to ensure you and your party are well rested & comfortable for your big day!
The QUONSET (under construction)
Adding even more charm and versatility to this historic wedding venue, the property also boasts a meticulously renovated Quonset, now transformed into a stunning reception hall. This once-industrial building, with its signature curved steel architecture, has been reimagined into a space that exudes a unique fusion of rustic and contemporary style. The exterior, with its sleek metal lines, contrasts beautifully with the surrounding natural landscape, while the interior has been designed to enhance the flow of your gathering with its inviting, open atmosphere.
Inside, the Quonset reception hall offers ample space for dining, dancing, and celebrating, with polished concrete floors and exposed steel ducting that maintain the structure's industrial charm. A blend of original industrial fixtures and romantic lighting strategically placed adds a touch of glamour. The Quonset space allows for a flexible layout, easily accommodating large gatherings, and can be dressed up with our long wooden banquet tables or round tables, or fit in a dance floor, depending on the couple's vision.
The Quonset has stylish bathrooms, a full servery with walk in cooler and industrial dishwasher to make catering a breeze. A beautiful bar with refrigeration and a projector with wall mounted screen and sound system create an integrated event space

The Ranch House
Just a short walk from the Quonset Hall is the ranch house, offering an exclusive and private retreat for the couple and/or their closest guests. This charming home, with its rustic ranch style, provides luxurious accommodations without losing its cozy, homey appeal. The exterior features a welcoming deck, where couples can sip coffee in the morning or enjoy a quiet moment amidst the celebration. Inside, the ranch house offers rooms decorated with vintage-inspired furnishings and soft, neutral tones. Large windows let in natural light, showcasing views of the surrounding fields or the nearby barn and reception spaces.
The ranch house provides a perfect sanctuary for the bride and groom to prepare for the day in privacy, with separate areas for getting ready, including two large bedrooms on the main floor and a serene sitting area for quiet moments. For family members or bridal party members who may also need a private retreat, the ranch house offers additional grand room of 850 sq feet that can be used as a beauty hive or a place to host family groups, this space is hard to put into words and can be used so many ways, some may even choose to be married in it!

River valley and Yard
Barn on the Bend is more than the buildings that rest on it. This property was first and still is a working ranch. The property is more than 250 acres and provides winter feed for our cattle. The property spans from TWP 505A all the way to the river valley making outdoor ceremony spaces a unique option and the photo opportunities endless. Dream of river valley back drops, corn fields or hay land? Maybe a wall of sunflowers? This place has it all!
